King George II claimed the British territory after Britian had won the seven year war. THe Royal Proclamation was issued on October 7, 1763 when george followed Great Britain's acquisition. The proclamation was made following Britians victory.

Stamp Act

The Townshend act was passed by the English Parliment after the Stamp Act. This was designed to collect revenue from the American colonists. Making some duties cutson in the imports of Glass, Lead, Paint, Paper, and tea. The British boycotted the Americans goods. The rentention of the tea tax ca;used the Boston Teach party.

Boston Massacre

The Boston Massacre occured on March 5th. 1770 betweena patriot mob. THe riot began when 50 citizens attacked the British sentinel. A town meeting was called to demand to remove the trian of the British, Captain Preston and his men for murder.

Tea Act

This act was to imposed no new taxes for people to pay. The main purpose of the act was not to raise revenue from colonies. On December 16,1773, the colonists boarded to East India to dumped their loads of tea.
