The Declaratory Act was approved after the stamp act was repealed. The Declaratory Act changed the sugar act as well. The Declaratory Act stated that the Parliaments Authority in America is the same as in Britain.

Boston Massacre
A fight broke out between the British Soldiers and the colonists. The Colonists threw stones and sticks at the british soldiers and one of the Soldiers were knocked down. Then the British opened fire killing 5 people including Crispus Attucks. Colonists called it the Boston Massacre.

1st Continental Congress
From September 5th, 1774 - October 26th
First continental congress met in Carpenter Hall in Philadelphia. They met so that they could respond to the British Parliaments enactment of the Coercive Acts in the American Colonies. Every colony sent delegates except Georgia. Peyton Randolph was elected as the President of the Congress. Patrick Henry, George Washington, John Adams, and John Jay were also apart of the Congress. -
Midnight Ride: Revere, Cheswell, Dawes
Revere, Cheswell, and Dawes all rode to Lexington to warn Samuel Adams, John Hancock and the militiamen that the British are coming.

Lexington and Concord
The Battles of Lexington and Concord triggered the start of the Revolutionary War. Many of the British troops marched from Boston to Concord in order to seize. Paul Revere and other riders sounded the alarm and colonial militiamen began moving to intercept the Redcoat column. A confrontation on the Lexington town green started off the fighting and soon the British were hastily retreating under intense fire. -
