French and Indian War
It was a war that was also nicknamed as the second hundred year war between the British empire and the French empire alongside with the native americans as well. The war ended with the British taking Canada from France and Florida from Spain as well. This battle featured William Pitt, the general of the British Army during that time, and even George Washington who was defeated by the French army. -
Albany Plan of Union
This plan was used as a way to bring all of the Colonies in America together as only one government. It was the first try to declare a more better government but it was never brought into place. -
Pontiacs Rebellion
This was a rebellion with the Native Americans against both the British and the Colonists. This was led by Chief Pontiac to take back their own home lands. -

It was an act that stated that any British Soldier must be given a place to stay if asked from that person. It was a required law for each colony. -
Declaratory Act
This was an act by the British Parliament that was created to repeal the Stamp Act. This was a celebration for the colonists to have no more taxes on the Stamp Act. -
Townshend Act
An act passed by the British Parliament to tax the american people more on glass, paints, tea, and other materials. The reason for this taxation was that it was used to get more money for the British Empire after the French and Indian War. -
Boston Massacre
A shooting that had happened in the middle of Boston where British Soldiers opened fire and several protesting colonists. This was also one of the reasons that sparked the American Revolutionary War. -
Tea Act
This act was used to tax tea in America. This Act was also not used as a revenue for Great Britain or America at all and was the one of the main reasons for sparking the Boston Tea Party -

A protest that happened in Boston, New York where the Sons of Liberty had protested by invading a British Ship with Tea in it and dumping out every box of tea onto the harbor. -

They were 5 laws passed by the British Parliament to try to overthrow the colonists and make them obey each new law. -

It was a law passed by the British Parliament to where they gave the French, Canada and allowed them to have a more permanent government to restore freedom from civil law -

It was a meeting where each of the colonists had to decide whether they would rebel against the British Empire. Every colony except for Georgia had decided to join the resistance. -

This was a quotation by Patrick Henry during the 2nd Virginia Convention that meant that he wants this country to have the liberty and freedom that it needs. He asked each person in his speech to help declare war against the British Empire because of their rules. -

They were the first battles of the Revolutionary War. This is also where the Americans had won the battles and the British had to retreat to Boston. -
