Treaty of Paris 1763
The Treaty of Paris (1763) was signed by the kingdoms Great Britan, France, Spain and Portugal. The signing of the treaty was the end of the Seven Years' War, also known as the French and Indian War. -

A street fight between the British and "Patriots". Several colonists were killed during the Boson Massacre. -

The British defeated the Americans in the Battle of Bunker Hill, fought in Massachusetts. Although they had lost, the battle increased their confidence. -
Appeal to Reason Rejected
The Olive Branch Petition. Affirmed American loyalty to Great Britain. -
Common Sense
A book written by Thomas Paine, which inspired people to declare war and fight for their independece. It was published in 1776.
