    French and Indian War
    The French and Indian War was between France and Great Britain. It is often refered to as the Seven Years War.
    Aftter the war the colonist saw no need for the British to stay in America, so they told them they needed to leave. The British were very angry with the colonist. The British raised taxes which made the colonies very angry. The colonist boycoted against paying taxes.

    Proclamation of 1763 was issued October 7 by King George III. The purpose of the proclamation was to organize Great Britains new north American empire and to regard north American trade and settlement.

    The Townshend Act was a set of laws passed by the Parliment of Great Britain. The purpose of the laws was to help fund the soldiers in North America. Whithout these funds the soldiers wouldn't have had the suplies for The Reovolution.

    The Boston Massacre was an incident that started by the British Redcoats getting upset with the colonist because both them and the colonist claimed the Ohio River Valley. The British attacked the colonist and the battle went on until some of the British soldiers started firing thier guns into the crowd. There were five men killed that day. The soldiers were found innocent because it was considered self defense.

    The Tea Act was planned to reduce the massive surplus of tea in the colonies. It agrivated the colonist because they lost all of their tea, this was another upsetting moment for the colonist which played a big part in the American Revolution.

Some of the colonist boarded the ships and threw all the tea over board. This started a major conflict between the British and the colonist.
