    Salutary Neglect
    Salutary Neglect means that Britain did not do anything for the colonists. The British just let the colonists do what they wanted. Later on they took it off and started taxing them because of the massive war debt.

    The war was over who got what land because the British needed supplies to send back to the king and they needed land to claim. The French allied with the Native Americans but so did the British. They wanted to have territory to claim.

    The Proclamation came into effect after the war because the British king did not want colonists to settle past the Appalachian mountains. The settlers end up disobeying the king and trying to settle past the mountains.

    There were British soldiers in Boston and these soldiers were not welcome there. The colonists started throwing things at the soldiers and the soldiers started to get angry so one shot his weapon. The one shot started the rest of the soldiers to shoot.
