The majority of the population were plebeians, so plebeinas were angry that patricians had all the power so they left Rome until Plebeians met their demands. -

New Ways of Law
The plebeians had gained more rights, but they weren't exactly equal as the patricians, so they demanded a way of laws that laws couldn't be changed at will so they wrote them on tablets called the Twelve Tables. -
287 BCE
Plebeians Win their Rights
After 200 years of the plebeians protesting and fighting for their equality, they got it, and all Romans had rights to accept and reject laws.
