Riley's Dictatorship

  • The Last Day

On an island once known as Hawaii, bombs rained down terminating almost all lifeforms. The United States onced owned this island and decided to destroy it because of the diseases that plagued it.
  • The Arrival

I arrived on the island the very next day with supplies to help those who survived. The island was devastated.
  • Rebirth

No country or power in the world wanted anything to do with the broken islands. The last citizens looked to me for guidance. I sought to teach everyone something that was kept from them -- peace.
  • Riley's Election

It was time to establish a new government. Everyone had previously been a part of a democracy. Which, we all once thought was the best form of government. After The Last Day, it was clear to see there were unexplored options. All of the survivors trusted me to lead them.
  • The Birth of Utopia

January 14, 2001 was our first official holiday when we established our new democracy. I ruled alone and totally, but was not strict. i vowed to real with kindness and mercy. On this day I gave my Bristle Speach, which was short and promised my people happiness. Each dictator I chose after me would give a short Bristle Speach.
  • The Big Book

On this day I realeased copies of the law book to people. The laws consisted of no stealing, no killing, etc. Punihsments for crimes range from wanring to exile. Teamwork, support, and positivity are all encouraged in the book. The book describes the importance of the land, people, happiness, and peace.
  • The Revalation

Our country had been nervous for the stronger powers to eventually come and dominate us. However, our land mass was so small that no one wanted it. And our government was so peaceful, it did not challenge anyone. Even if people had come, they would probably die from the disease. We were isolated form the world's evils, and realized we were safe.
  • The "Invasion"

It wasn't until two years later that people came to see the remains of Hawaii. The people who came were searching for family remains to put their hearts at ease, and scientists said it would be at least a year until the disease would no longer be contageous. However, the survivors mutated to withstand the disease. The invaders either immediately died from the illness, or joined our civilization.
  • Gratituity Day

Every year after Earth Day, we thanked each other. I decided the people should praise and be grateful for our own achievments as well as the ones nature has given us.
  • Earth Day

I decided that instead of building tall towers and stuctures, we could survive from the land with minimal materialistic items. I chose to live as a commoner to my people, and that we would all spend this entire day, every year, taking care of the Earth and its creatures.
