Thirty Year’s War
This war started and took place mostly in the Holy Roman Empire as a result of the Protestant Reformation that was intitiated by Martin Luther. The major conflict was over religion between Catholics and Protestants. The Habsburgs lost some power, and the Holy Roman Empire was weekend. After the war Calvinism and and freedom of private warship was accepted.

War of the Austrian Succession
This war started when Frederick II of Prussia invaded Silesia, which at that time was a very rich Habsburg province. It ended with the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748. The most important people involved were also Maria Theresa of Austria and Karl Albrecht of Bavaria. The main problem was the death of the Emperor Charles VI and the question who would take the throne after him. All European powers were fighting to gain more power.

Treaty of Paris
The Treaty of Paris marked the end of the French and Indian War between Great Brittain and France. This expensive war took seven years and as a result France lost all North American territories.

Stamp Act
The Stamp Act imposed taxation without representation onto the American Colonists by the British Government. All legal documents were subject to stamping and that made things more expensive. The colonists got angry about it, until it was eventually repealed.

American Revolution
The American Revolution led to the Independence of the United States of America after Great Britain's rule was overthrown by the Thirteen Colonies. There were many tensions between Great Britain and the colonies, such as the Tea Acts and the Townshed Acts were critical issues. French Revolution
The French Revolution ended Feudalism in France. It caused big changes in politics and society which were very important for creating modern day governments. People started embracing ideas of freedom, and they started rethinking women rights and slavery. Napoleon ended up overthrowing the Revolutionary Government though.

Tennis Court Oath
The Third Estate made up of common people met in a tennis court and they decided to represent the French people. As a National Assembly they made the Tennis Court Oath and they wanted to be repsected as the voice of the people. They didn't listen to king Louis XVI and they wanted to write a constitution in order to protect their rights as citizens. This event was supposed to show that the power is coming from the people. -
Storming of the Bastile
The Storming of the Bastille in Paris was the beginning of the French Revolution. The fortress was important for the power of the monarchy because it was a prison who didn't agree with the monarchs. The people in the revolutionary city had weapons and gunpowder, so they were able to defend themselves from then on, and the monarchy came to an end through the revolution.

English Bill of Rights
The Bill of Rights was ratified by three-fourths of the state legislatures and it makes the first 10 amendments of the U.S. Constitution. Freedom of Religion,Speach, Press, and Peaceable Assemly, and all the other ones are guarateeing the most important rights for all Americans. Our life would be very different without them.

Reign of Terror
The Reign of Terror happened during the French Revolution, and it was full of booldshed. Everyone who didn't agree with the French Revolutionists was executed at the guillotine. The people who managed these killings were radicals who took over the revolutionary government.
