Boston Tea Party
There were many acts of proptests against the tea act.In Boston the Sons of Liberty formed the Boston Tea Party. One evening a group of men dressed as native Americans boarded three ships and dedstroyed 342 chests of tea.This event is important beacause of the Brtish reaction to the Boston Tea Party leads to the rebelion in the thirteen colones.

Battle of Bennington
The army was running out of supplies so a raiding party was sent to Vermont to see what they could find. The raiding party and the New England troops fight. The raiding party is defeated badly. Even with this set back the army was still able to head towards Albany. It was important sense making it to Saratoga would end up being a turning point.

The Battle of Saratoga was the turning point of the war, because the Americans won and they usually do not win. This battle got a lot of other countries in the war.

General Gates got provided with helpful knowledge of the swamp. This time frame is important beacause this is when guerrilla tactics were learned and became useful during the wars.

The Battle of King's Mountain
A viscous battle in the south between the Loyalists/militia and Americans led to about 1,000 deaths.Most people who were killed had been either hung or shot after they had surrendered. The Americans killed them in revenge for Loyalists raids and an earlier incident which the British had butchered Americans. This is important sense it was one of the Britsh's first losses.
