Boston Massacre
British troops fired at colonists taunting them as they kept gaurd in the city. -
Boston Tea Party
Colonists dressed as Natives dumped 340 tea chests into the Boston Harbor. -
Tea Act
Allowed the British East India Company to sell the tea directly to the colonists. -
Intolerable Acts
Placed six unfair restrictions on colonists until they could pay for the tea that they dumped into the Boston Harbor. -
Battles At Lexington And Concord
British wanted to get supplies. And the first shot of the Revolution was fired here. Neither the colonist nor the British won. -
Battle At Bunker Hill
Patriots built a shelter, they were tired after working the night but the general never got their reinforcements. They ran out of ammo and lost. -
Canada
The Patritots, led by Benedict Arnold, were short on supplies. And the British conquered. -
Townshend Acts
These acts placed duties on glass, lead, paints, paper and tea. -
Battle of Long Island
The Patriots, led by Geroge Wahsington, lost 1,500 men. They were defeated by General Howe and had to retreat to New Jersery. -
Battle of Trenton
On the day after Christmas Washington and his troops attacked the Hessians. It was an eady victory where the Partiots captured around 900 men. Merry Christmas! -
Battle of Saratoga
This battle was the first offical victory of the colonists. The French joined the Patriots and the war would never be the same.
