  • Concord and Lexington

    The Lexington and Concord was against the Redcoats and Colonists they gathered minutemen on their way to Concord. Someone shot first, but we don't know who did. The British won, but then the Colonists surprise attacked them, causing the British to retreat.
  • Bunker Hill

    The battle on Bunker Hill was a battle against the redcoats and the colonists. The colonists chose this Hill to use for the battle and had limited gunpowder, so they were not allowed to shoot until they saw the white in their eyes. The Colonists lost because they ran out of gunpowder, but did great damage by pushing back the redcoats for however long they could.

    The battle at Princeton was when the Patriots took 868 Hessian's captured and 300 British troops.
  • Monmouth

    The Battle of Monmouth was against the British and Patriots. The British were leaving Philadelphia and the Patriots chased them and Washington used his troops to push back the British across the Hudson to NYC. This led the war to be pushed back to the original spot the war had begun.
