The Quatering Act
The Quartering Act is a name given to a minimum of two Acts of British Parliament in the local governments of the American colonies to provide the British soldiers with any needed accommodations and housing. It also required colonists to provide food for any British soldiers in the area. -

Tea Act
Granted the the right to sell tea free of tax, that colonial tea sellers had to pay. Colonists protested violently, and disguised them selves as indians and d;umped 18,000 lbs. of tea of the East indian company in the Boston Harbor. -
Intolerable Act
A series of harsh laws, passed by British parliament. Meant to punish the acts of Boston tea party and other patriotic acts. -
Lexington and Concord
General Gage orders troops to march to concord, Massachusetts, and seize colonial weapons. Minutemen intercept the Britsh and engage battle, first at Lexington, then at concord. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
the British defeats the Americans at the battle of bunker hill in Massachusetts. -
2nd Continental Congress
this helped move towards independence, adopting the United stated Declaration of Independence.
