Treaty of Paris
Congress had articles of peace ending the Revolutionary War with Great Britain. On September 3, 1783, the Treaty of Paris was signed, bringing the Revolutionary War to a end. -

The Sugar Act
They ended the taxes which would put the product cheaper than the French West Indie price. The situation disrupted, reducing the markets to which the colonies could sell. -

It was passed by the British to impose on all American colonist to pay taxes for printed papers they used. -

Stamp Act Congress
The first Congress of the American Bristish colonies. It was a protest against the new Britis taxation. -
Stamp Act Repealed
Imposed a direct tax on the British American colonies. It was to help pay for troops who were in North America. -
Declaratory Act
It is also know as the American Colonies Act. It repealed the stamp act and changed the surgar act. -
Townshend Act
Series of acts passed by parliament of Great Britian. Named after Charles Townshend because he was the chancellor of the Excheqer. -
Boston Masssacra
A riot between Patriots and British soldiers. British soldiers killing 3 on spot and wounding 8 others. -
Committee of Correspondence
A government ran by the Patriot leaders of the 13 colonies. It helped set upthe first Continental Congress. -
Tea Act
The last even that happened that happened before getting taxes but becuase of the following. The American Colonies protest by dumping the tea into the harbor. -
Boston Tea Party
Jogn Adams who was the leasder and part of "Sons of Liberty", his way of protesting was to dump the tea into the Boston Harbor. -
Intolerable Acts
To punish the Massachusetts coloney for for throwing tea into the harbor. It is named for a series of punitive laws. -
1st Continental Congress
12 out of the 13 colonies met in Philadelphia to discuss the Intolerable act in 1774. -

Written by Thomas Paine. It gave the 13th colonies in sparation to fight for independence. -
Lexington and Concord
There the locations of the Britians secret plan. Lexington was where they'd capture Sam Adams and John Handcock. Concord is where they'd seize gunpowder. -
Bunker Hill
British beat the Americans at Bunker Hill, it gave Americans a Confident boost. The Americans were forced to leave with 100 dead and 300 wounded.
