    The sugar act was put in place to drop the price of sugar from 6 to 3 pence per gallon. The colonists protested this act and were very angry with it.

    The British Parliament passed the Stamp Act to help pay for British troops stationed in the colonies during the Seven Years War. The act required the colonists to pay a tax, represented by a stamp. The colonists did not like having to pay a tax and protested the act.

    This act taxed any goods going to America. The colonists thought this was a abuse of power because they didn't have anyone in the parliament. The British didn't like it either because they had to pay a tax too.

    Tea Act Passed
    It let people sell and ship the tea straight to the buyer and they didn't have to stop in Britain anymore. Everyone was happy with this because it meant getting tea sold and delivered faster.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    It was a political protest that happened. The colonists protested and did coordinated resistance. The British people were sad to see what happened and angry.
