Jan Hus was a priest and a professor at the University of Prague, He was burned at the stake for heresy because he spoke out against the Catholic Church and the moral failings of many Church leaders. Jan Hus had many followers who continued his work and demanded reform of the Church. -

The agreement ended much of the conflict between Catholics and Lutherans.
