This renaissance man did many things to change the world we live in today. Some of his ideas are still used today, and is so common that no one knows it. in April 1492, Columbus’s plan to sail across the undescovered ocean to chaina received royal approval, and he set fourth to explore the other side of the ocean. Without his exploration, we may have never found America, and modern society wouldn't be the same, as America is one of the most well-known and inportant countries in the world. -

This is one on the big reasons the church of england was born. The act of him posting his 95 theses on a church door in Wittenberg, Germany guided many people, including Henry the VIII, to the reformation and the birth of the church of England. The church of England is still a big part of Chaistianity today. -

This book was made for the leaders that ruled back in the Renaissance time. This book has been read by many leaders, both past and present, and the ideas of how he rules are still used today by communist leaders across the world. Without him, this world would not have any communist political parties to run countries. His machiavellian ideas were used by leaders such as Adolf Hitler. -

This is his first wife and first devorce. This devorce caused henry the VIII to split from the catholic church. Then he made a movement called "the reformation" and made himself the head of church of the church of England. This is very important, as the church of england is still active today, and is a s big and widespread as the catholic church. -
Invention of the Microscope
Two Dutch spectacle makers experimented with several lenses in a tube and discovered that nearby objects appeared enlarged, although blurry and upside down. That was the first microscope. Without this invention, many other "scopes", such as the telescope wouldn't have been invented, therefor the idea of the Earth bbeing at the center of the universe would be still believed in, and science tought today would be compleatly wrong. -

The flush toilet is one of the most commonly used objects in the world today. Sir John Harrington, godson to Queen Elizabeth, made the first flush toilet for himself and his godmother. Without it, many people will be disgusted by the smell of an non-flush toilet. -
First Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is about thanking the many people that help you, and thanking everybody by giving to each other. In the first thanksgiving, the british and the natives gave food to each other. Thanksgiving with the native Americans showed peace and friendship towards them, and is the reason they got along well for a period of time. Without Thanksgiving, we might not be in good terms with the native Americans at this moment.
