It took many peoples lives and this forced people to think less about the after life and more about they're limited time on earth which brought us the renaissance a time all about humanism and loving the body. This is significant because it started a whole new period and killed over 50 million people.

    Known as one of the most important inventions in history and for a good reason. The printing press allowed literature to be spread world wide allowing ideas to be passed around quicker and easier. This also allowed for books to printed in a language people could understand allowing everyone to grow in education. Historically Significant because we still use it today in books and papers. Also made litterature more accesible world wide.

This was all created by michealangelo who is a fantastic artist and allowed us to see what art in the renaissance was like.

    The Mona Lisa one of the most recognized paintings in the world also took place during the renaissance and was painted by Leonardo da Vinci. Now there are many reasons why this painting is historically significant and known world wide. This piece of art uses a technique called sfumato, a technique which softens the edges of objects. This was never seen before and paved the way for many other fors of art.

Although back then he may not have been as significant as he his now. No doubt he was praised as an amzing writer but his stories are now a huge deal. They are historically significant today because they gave us a look at how life was in the renaissance and we enjoy his amaizng pieces of literature.
