When his father died he left behind a good amount of money for Raphael to maintain his own painting business. From there Raphael began as an apprentice to Petro Perugino where he became an expert at Perugino's technique. During his years of painting he painted for Pope's and in many rooms of the Vatican, he died April 6, 1520.

After that training Titian worked with a man called Giorgio and together they became leaders of the modern movement working with colour and fine paintbrushes. In 1516 after Giorgio died Titian created a masterpiece called Assumption of the Virgin.
