    • The battle of Dorylaeum. The Battle of Dorylaeum took place during the First Crusade on 1 July 1097 between the crusader forces and the Seljuk Turks, near the city of Dorylaeum in Anatolia.
    The Battle of Ascalon took place on 12 August 1099 shortly after the capture of Jerusalem, and is often considered the last action of the First Crusade. -siege of Antioch. First Crusade in the Holy Land. Events set a pattern of betrayal, massacre, and heroism that was to mark future campaigns.

    The black death

    in may 1347, Both sides in the siege are decimated and survivors in Caffa escape by sea, leaving behind streets covered with corpses being fed on by feral animals. in June, 1348 The plague enters England in Dorset. As it spreads through the town, some escape by fleeing inland, inadvertently spreading it further. in February, 1349 One of the worst massacres of Jews during the Black Death takes place on Valentine’s Day in Strasbourg, with 2,000 Jewish people burned alive.

    1400- China grows under Ming Dynasty, with capital at Beijing. Agriculture,
    navigation, Confucianism, and art thrive. Chinese trading ships export tea,
    silk, and porcelain to India, Africa, and Europe, with Guangzhou as a major
    trading post. 1450- the printing press happend so people could actually communicate with each other.
