The Harry Potter Series J.K. Rowling
Here is the most important moment in my timeline. When I first read Harry Potter, it was during a very hard time for my family. I have always used books as a form of escape but with Harry Potter, it was different. I was able to forget all of my problems and let the story take me far away. After this, reading became one of my favorite things. -

Divorce
This year my parents got divorced and I had to move across town and change schools. I left all of my friends behind and it was really difficult starting over. During this time, I relied heavily on my books and would often prefer the company of a book over people. -

Friends
After high school, I did not read as often as I did. My friends and I decided to read the same books at the same time so we could discuss them and it brought the fun back to reading. -
College
Being in college makes it hard to find time to read. When I do, however, I am reminded all over again why I love it so much.
