Horse Domestication
There is no date on when horses were domesticated. Although there were pictures on the inside of caves back in Prehistoric times on caves, they think that horses were wild and just being hunted for meat in the pictures. Today the horses that are domestic are breeded to do many things, such as Derby Racing, Jumping, Barrel Race, or even just personal riding. Most of today's horses are not used as much as they used to be when we didn't have the machinery that we have now. -
Domestication of Plants and Animals
Agriculture involving domestication of plants and animals started around 10,000 B.C. Domestication of plants and animals started in the Fertile Crescent in Western Aisa, Egypt, and India. When they domesticated plants they used special techniques such as irrigation and crop rotation. -
Development of Agriculture
Farming began thousands of years ago with the hunter_gatherer civilizations. Farming was developed thousands of years before writing was. Grain of rye with domestic traits was found in sites around Southwest Aisa and North Africa from around 20,000 B.C. -
Industrial Revolution
When agriculture started developing, we started with hand production. Between 1820 qnd 1840 we started going from hand production transforming into machinery. Then we started chemical manufacturing and iron production processes, we also improved the effciency of water power. We also increased the use of steam power. -
Organic Farming
Organic farming has been around since the prehistoric times. All traditional farming is now considered as "Organic Farming". Forest gardening is a type of organic farming that was used in the past. (not sure of the year)
