Hippocrates created the Hippocratic Oath that all doctors have to sign before being allowed to perform medical practice by themselves. He was also known for studying diseases without cutting open any human to study.

The Romans had a strong belief in what the Greeks discovered including the spiritual beliefs surrounding medicine.
