The Tennis Court Oath was a meeting held in an indoor tennis court between the third estate and the estates general. It was important because ideas were voted on by many people not just decided by one guy. -

French citizens storm Bastille angered by rumors about government attacks. They slaughtered many and then marched through the streets cutting off heads of the dead gaurds. -

Attacks on the prisons
Rumors that all the prisioned monarchs and leaders were going to revolt spread in Paris and citizens got angry, formed a mob, and brutally slaughtered 1,200 people. -
King Louis XVI execution
King Louis was put on trial as a citizen for five days and sentenced to death by guillotine. -
The Terror
Anybody thought to have been enemies of the revoulution was executed by guillotine resulting in 50,000 lives lost and mass chaos in France. -
Robespierre exicution
Awating execution in a room he attempted suicide by shooting himself in the jaw. He failed and was left very hurt.The next day he was guillotined without trial.
