    This lesson required us to learn 3 main shots to use when filming. SRS (Shot Reverse Shot)

  • Learning how to use software for editing

    This date we learned how to use the software appropriatley to make a good media product. The software we used was called Serif Movie Plus which allows you to edit a movie.

  • Analysing 3 movie product opening titles

    This lesson allowed us to have a look at 3 opening movie titles and having a look at what features they use to make it look interesting, how it links to the genre of the film and what methods they used to keep the audience entertained.

    We had to conduct primary research on how codes and convention vary when choosing a specific genre.
    Mine was a thriller so i had to find appropriate codes and conventions.

  • Learning Codes and Conventions

    This lesson allowed us to learn how to use codes and conventions appropriatley to make it apply to our specific movie genre. We had a look at several movie genres and analyised closely the codes and conventions used to make it look good.
