Queen Elizabeth I was born on September 7th, 1533. She was born in Greenwich Palace. Her parents were Henry VIII, and Queen Anne Boleyn. They were expecting to have a boy, but they had a girl, and that caused contreversy.

Henry VIII dies

Henry VIII father o Elizabeth dies. The cause of his death was uncertain, but it was said to be several different causes. Now that Henry is no longer king, this can help Elizabeth gain the thrown and become queen faster.

Mary's Pregnancy

Elizabeth was recalled to court to attend the final stages of Mary's apparent pregnancy. If Mary gave birth to a healthy child, Elizabeth's chances of becoming queen weren't looking good. It turns out that Mary was not pregnant and no one believed any longer that she could have a child. Elizabeth was surely going to become queen.

Becomes Sick

Queen Elizabeth becomes very ill, with smallpox. It was believed that she nearly died with this illness. If she had died, she wouldnt have been nearly as successful as she was.

Mary, Queen of Scots is executed. She was killed because she threatend to take he throne from elizabeth. She was executed before her plan went through. Elizabeth is lucky, because she couldve had her crown stolen.
