  • Sheikh Jassim

    Sheikh Jassim bin Mohammed Al-Thani was born in 1825.
    He assumed full responsibility as Emir of Qatar in 1876 when the Ottomans gave him the title Qa'em Maqam, Deputy Governor.
  • Sheikh Abdullah

    Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Thani was born in Doha in 1880.
    On July 17, 1913, he took over as the ruler of Qatar.
    The British and the Ottomans acknowledged him as a ruler of Qatar.
  • Sheikh Ali

    Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani was known for his generosity and benevolence and was a religious author and poet.
    In 1949, following his father, Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim's abdication, he became the ruler of the country.

    Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali Al-Thani established the Ministry of Finance in 1960.
    He issued the transitional constitution on April, 1970.

    Setting up many economic and social projects such as investing the North Gas Field.

    Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani was the first Qatari to take over as the commander in chief of the Qatari army.
    He was chosen as the Emir of Qatar in 1995.
    The state of Qatar improved it's relation with other GCC countries.

    In 1997 Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani Graduated from Sherborne Secondary School UK.
    And he became Emir of Qatar in June 25th 2013
  • Sheikh Mohamed

    In the middle of the 19th century, the family of Al-Thani moved from Fuwairit to Doha, under the leadership of Mohamed bin Thani who was born in Fuwairit.
    When his father, Thani bin Mohamed died. he became the leader of his tribe in Fuwairit.
