in 1906. He mentioned the terrible conditions that took place in meat packing industries. After, Americans were revealed the true colors of the American food industry of this time. -

Triangle Shirtwaist Factory
A fire in NYC. Victims were Italian or Jewish 16-23 year old women. The fire caused the deaths of 146 workers. The fire occurred because the owners had locked the doors to the stairwells and exits. The fire led to regulated and advanced factory safety standards. -
