Lend Lease Act
A new plan Roosevelt created because Great Britain had no more cash to spend in the arsenal of democracy so he created this to try and help. Under this plan, the president would lend arms and other supplies to “any country whose defense was vital to the United States.” The Lend Lease act was passed in March of 1941. -
Broken Agreement
Hitler broke the agreement he had made with with Stalin, not to go to war and invade the Soviet Union. Roosevelt began sending supplies to help out the Soviet Union. -
