  • Plankalkul

    Plankalkul was design by Konrad Zuse for engineering purposes.
  • MATH-MATIC

    MATH-MATIC is a short less complicated way of doing mathematical equations. Released by Rand Corp. developed by Grace Hopper
  • Fortran

    Fortran is one of the oldest coding languages and was developed by a team at IBM led by John Backus. Fortran was designed to allow easy translation of math formulas into code. FORTRAN (FORmula TRANslation)
  • Lisp

    Lisp is a family of computer programming languages created by John Mc Carthy, it was intended as a mathematical formula for repetitive computer equations
  • RPG

    RPG (Report Program Generator) is for business applications developed by IBM.
  • COBOL

    COBOL an acronym for Common Business-oriented language and was created for business use.
  • BASIC

    BASIC is an acronym for Beginner's All-purpose Symbolic Instruction Code. BASIC was created by John G. Kemeny and Thomas E. Kurtz as a program language that was easy to use.

    Designed as a tool for learning for children. It was developed by a team from MIT.

    Pascal which was designed by Niklaus Wirth as a way to encourage good programming structure.
