Before the iPhone 5, there was an iPhone 4S. However, the only difference was that it had Siri. Apple sold 5 million units of the iPhone 5 in the first week it was out. The iPhone 5 also had LTE connectivity. -

The iPhone 5S introduced touch ID and slow motion video. The iPhone 5C had a plastic shell that did not break and came in different colors. -
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus was a newer model. The phone was bigger than the rest and this was the first phone that had a plus size. On this phone, the screen was bigger and the storage went up to 128 GB. -
iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus
The iPhone 6S and 6S Plus were made sure not to bend like the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus did. The camera and the memory of the phone also improved. Apple also introduced 3D Touch on this iPhone. -
iPhone 7 and iPhone 7Plus
Before the iPhone 7 and 7Plus, there was the iPhone SE. The iPhone SE was pretty much the same as the iPhone 6S, but it was smaller and a lot more affordable. The iPhone 7 introduced newer colors such as the jet black or the matte black. They also got rid of the headphones jack to make the phone water resistant. -
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus
The back of the iPhone 8 and 8Plus was glass. This was a good marketing technique that Apple used because if not only the front could break, but so could the back, people would break their phones a lot more and pay to get new ones. The camera was also advanced in this phone. -
iPhone X
The iPhone X had a face ID feature to unlock your phone with. The camera quality was also out of this world and portrait mode really became popular on this phone. -
iPhone XS and iPhone XR
The XS and the XR both have front facing portait camera. The XR is smaller than the XS is and it also comes in a variety of colors. The cameras on both phones are 512 GB and the web browser is 16 GB.
