    Germinal Stage - 1st Trimester

    This stage starts when conception begins, 1-2 weeks long.The zygote is created when the sperm met the egg, now begins to divide and stick to the uterus wall.

    Embryonic Stage

    This stage lasts around 8 weeks and is where most of the organs will begin to form, it goes from weeks 5-10.. Organs like the nervous system, face, arms and legs, placenta, amniotic sack, sexual organs, muscles, and movement all began to form.
  • Period: to

    3rd Trimester

    This begins at week 27 through birth. The baby is about 15 inches long and develops its lungs and digestive system completely. It'll continue to put on weight and is considered full term at 37 weeks. A woman typically goes into labor around 39-40 weeks but sometimes can have a late delivery.

    Fetal Stage

    This stage lasts from week 9 till birth. During this, the baby continues to develop its organs and begins to grow and gain weight. The brain and spinal cord begin to form and the baby begins to make movements. The gender of the baby will be determined within 18-20 weeks of this stage. This is also where the second trimester begins.

    2nd Trimester

    This begins at week 12, the baby begins to grow hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, open their eyes, develop fingerprints, and development in the brain is going fantastic. By the 18-20 week, movement and kicking can be felt.
