The baby is just a little ball of cells. It has an inner cell mass that will become the embryo itself and a fluid filled cavity that will become the amniotic sac.

Hands and feet are emerging from arms and legs. Eyelids are folding partially over eyes, eyes have some color. Both sides of the brain are growing. Liver is forming along with appendix, pancreas and intestines.

The fingers begin to open and close, toes will curl, eyes clench & mouth with make sucking movements.

Skeleton is changing from soft to bone. Umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker. They can move their joints & sweat glands are starting to develop.

The lips and eyebrows are becoming more distinct. Starting to grow fine hair.

Sleeping and waking up at regular times. Opening and closing eyes. More brain tissue developing. The brain is very active.

The baby weights about 3 lbs. 16 inches. Has toenails, fingernails and real hair.

Baby has full head of hair. Weights over 6 lbs, over 19 inches.

Their skull bones yet aren't fused. Should weight around 6-7 lbs.
