Fingers and toes almost complete.
All organs present, although immature.
Mother:
Breasts become firmer and fuller, may ache. Abdomen becomes slightly larger, about the size of an orange. weight gain total; 2-4 pounds -

Periods of activity followed by periods of rest and quiet.

Weight gain continues rapidly.
May react to loud noises with a reflex jerking action.

Mother: Discomfort may result from increased size, backaches, legs cramps, shortness of breath, fetal kicks may disturb the morthers rest. total weight gain is 18-20 pounds. -

Weight gain continues untill the week before birth.
Skin becomes smooth as fat deposits continue.
Monther:
Lightening felt as the fetus drops into the pelvis, breathing mecomes easier. other discomforts may continue. a total weight gain is 25-35 pounds, false labor pains may be experinced.
Movement decrease as the fetus has less room to move around.
Acquires diseasee-fighting antibodies from mothers blood.
Descends inito pelvis, ready for brith.
