DONNA HARAWAY: "A CYBORG MANIFESTO"
One key event in Donna Haraway's work is the publication of her essay "A Cyborg Manifesto". This essay challenged conventional notions of identity, biology and politics by positioning the cyborg as a symbol of hybridity and resistance. Haraway argued that the cyborg represented an escape from traditional gender roles and from the binds of fixed identities. This essay is now considered a seminal work in feminist theory. -
