I remember being so nervous because it was my first tryout for the high school team. I was scared I was going to get cut from the team, but I made it and I was so excited and surprised. -
COVID-19
I remember finding out that were getting out of school for a week because of COVID-19 at lacrosse practice. At the time we didn't realize it how serious it was going to be and were celebrating having off from school. -
First Female Vice President
I remember being so excited when Kamala Harris was elected as the first female vice president. It had felt like such a great step for women in politics. It was also a great accomplishment for the black community as well. -
Travelling Out West
I was so excited to go to Montana and Wyoming especially because I was going with my best friend. It was so cool getting to see the National Parks and the scenery everywhere was breathtaking. -
Russia Invades Ukraine
When I found out about Russia invading Ukraine, I felt so bad and scared for the people living there. I can't even imagine how scary and devastating it was/still is for the Ukrainian people.
