Birth
Born on 31 December, 2000 in Jidhafs. I was the second child, so I received lesser attention than my older sister when she was my age. -
Nursery
At Arabian Pearl Gulf School. This was one of the first times that I made friendships, and I'm still friends with my classmates at the time to this day. This picture was on the National Day of Bahrain. -
Cartoon Fandom
I began watching TV Shows for kids like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Kids Next Door (my favorite), etc. This was also my first experience with being a nerd, as seen in the cosplay in the picture! -
Football
In the 1st Grade, among the many stuff I was introduced to, football emerged in P.E. Class. This made me athletic, competitive and a #baller. -
3rd Grade
This was the grade when I got my first B. It made me feel like I'm a failure because I didn't try hard enough. Therefore, I decided to try my best in the future and dedicate myself to my work -
6th Grade
It was my favorite grade. The fun we had then was inconceivable. For example, during classes, one teacher would record a video so that if we do anything, she had evidence. Every time she began recording, we began saluting even though it's the middle of class, or just close it without permission. This event taught me that anything can be fun with friends and optimism. -
Obesity
By the 6th grade, I began noticing how obese I became after it was pointed out by my P.E. teacher. So, I followed a strict diet and lost 20 kg, to the point that teachers thought i was anorexic. This event taught me to watch my weight and, from a wider spectrum, that nothing is impossible. -
MKS
In the 9th Grade, I changed from my old school, Arabian Pearl Gulf, to MKS because my old school was teaching in the British system (IGCSE, IB). On the first day in MKS, I was shocked by the cultural diversity, unlike my previous school. This event is why I'm writing this right now. It is also what made me respect and accept other cultures and have a better sense of humor. -
Present
Today, I've made friends from every continent in the world because of MKS. We converse normally, with no barriers like language, because experience and comedy is universal! Today has made me grateful for all I have #happylatethanksgiving.
