  • How flexible or fixed does your future seem do be?

My future seems very flexible. When creating my future timeline I realized that there are no set dates in my life. I have a lot of freedom with what I want to do with my life. I found that I am not certain what I want to do with the rest of my life and have no time frame with the events that I think might happen. During my high school years I feel like I have a very fixed time frame of the events I need to accomplish before college. After college, I feel that I will have more choices.
  • What does your time line tell you about yourself?

My timeline tells me that many of the things that happened to me when I was in elementary school still influence me to this day. Things like learning how to play the flute and swim have shaped my life in a positive way. These are the two activities that I choose to continue throughout school, and without these things I would not be the person that I am today. Band and swimming has allowed me to meet new people, become more confident, and strive for success in all that I do.
  • How different would you be if you could have changed one or two events along your line?

My life would be completely different without these events. When I moved to Deer Valley, I was able to go to a brand new school where I could meet new friends and get a good education. As my elementary years went on, I began making friends from band and swimming, many of whom are still my friends today. These events on my timeline have molded the way I think about success and hard work. Without these specific events I would have a different view on how to accomplish my goals.
