Moving into Our First House
My Family moved into our first house. This was big because we had only ever lived in apartments before this. Also, my parents were always pretty open to me decorating my room how ever I wanted; which allowed me to have a space where I was comfortable. -
Staying with my Grandma
I spent the night at my Great Grandmother's house. I spent time with my cousins and enjoyed her cooking. I feel that this made me more appreciative of my grandmother and drew us closer. -
Brother Born
My younger brother was born this day. I was very excited to not be the only child. I feel like it brought a sense of maturity because I wanted to be a good example. -
Covid Quarantine
Staying in the house allowed me to consume lots of media and gave me a break from middle school. Because of the quarantine I was able to do a lot of self-discovery and find ways to cope through music and tv/movies. -
Got a new dog
My cousin surprised us with a new puppy. We named her Rocky. She loves to sleep and is very clingy. For me, Rocky brought a sense of calm when I was feeling down and she helped eased the loneliness that came with everything being virtual. -
Summer Camp
A 5-day stayaway camp. I did different activities (horseback rising, arts, archery, etc.) and met new people. This was my last year being able to go to camp and it introduced me to friendships that will go beyond camp. -
Working in NYC
I want to be working for a well known company in New York City. I want to live there and the industry that I want to work in thrives there (fashion or music). For now, I need to apply to colleges. -
Traveling
I have a big interest in the fashion and art cultures in Europe/Asian countries so, I want to be able to explore that in person. For Now, I need to research companies or careers that allow travel.
