    DVDs
As a kid, beginning around 2008 (3-years old), I watched TV from a wide collection of DVDs. My favorite show was Avatar the Last Airbender. I didn't grow up with channels, and it wasn't until late elementary school that I started streaming shows online. DVDs played an important role in my personal development as I spent most of my time watching them as a child.

  • Computers

    Computers
In the 3rd grade, around 2011, I started using my mom's computer to play Club Penguin. I also learned how to use email as I needed email verification to play a lot of the time. I also had computer classes around this time at Ironwood Elementary, where we learned how to type. I mostly used computers to play games and I remember it being really fun.

    Xbox360
My older brother received an Xbox360 as a gift around 2011. I fought with him a lot since we only had one TV and he would always hog it. Whenever he wasn't using it, I would play Minecraft or watch different DVDs. As time went on, I continued to use the Xbox 360 to play Minecraft, Skyrim, and Goat Simulator with my friends and family. In 2020, I got my own Xbox One S thanks to the Stimulus check. I mostly use it to stream Crunchyroll now, but I still love the Xbox.
  • The iPad

    The iPad
Around 2012, my dad bought his first iPad. Whenever my cousins and I got together, we would play on the iPads together. We usually played Minecraft, Blockheads, or we would watch Mako Mermaids on Netflix. I was always a little jealous that my cousins had their own iPads, but I had a lot of fun playing with them, nonetheless.

    The iPhone 4
I received my sisters "old" iPhone 4 in 2016 (the iPhone 7 was the newest one at the time) when I was in the 6th grade. I remember being really excited to "FINALLY" have a phone. I had wanted one for a while. I didn't have service, but I still used it every day to listen to music, play Piano Tiles 3, and scroll on Instagram. I use that Instagram account to this day.
