    my parents got a job change and moved from Ohio to Florida. this is important because I got to see a different part of the United States

    my sister was born. this is important because I got to know what it was like to be a big sister. to set a good example for my sister

    my parents found out I have tourettes syndrome. this has really impacted my life..it has helped shape me into the person I am today. I know what it is like to be different, and people do treat you differently and look at you in a weird way.

  • grandparents moved behind us- personal

    my grandparents bought a house right behind our house. this was great for my parents because they always had a baby sitter..and it was great that my sister and I grew up knowing out grandparents.

  • started babysitting-professional

    I wanted to earn a little bit of money so I babysat kids. I loved children so I thought it would be a perfect fit.

    I decided to give my heart to the Lord at a summer camp after my 8th grade year. this has really impacted how I live my life, my morals and values.

    I thought I was shy before I got bullied. But being bullied caused me to be even more reserved. Being bullied has affected how I treat people and what I say to people. it caused me to think before I speak because words really do hurt.

    I became friends with Nick Marquez. He really brought me out of my comfort zone. this is important because Nick boosted my confidence and helped me become more outgoing. Before I met Nick I was the shy kid who sat in the back..I wouldn't talk to anyone unless they talked to me.

    I got my first job at a bowling alley. this is important because it shows i have work experience and that it helped me grow up a lot.

    this is important because I was able to be more responsilble. when i started driving i not only had to be a good driver, i was responsible for taking care of my car and paying to keep gas in it and take care of the insurance.

    I graduated from high school..this is important because it was an achievement. I graduated from high school with honors.

  • traveled overseas-personal

    I got the opportunity to travel to London in the summer of 2009. it was an eye opening experience because I was able to see how people in that part of the world lived.

  • started college-professional

    I started college. this was the next step to take to further my education and to my future.

  • decided a major-professional

    when I first started college, I had no idea what i wanted to be. eventually my mom suggested teaching since I wanted to work with children. I took an education class and knew it was my calling.
