    7th Grade Gym
    I had never really enjoyed gym in middle school. When the floor hockey unit began, I was excited to learn something new but not excited about actually doing it. When I got the stick in my hand however, the entire game came natural.
  • 7th Grade Biology

    7th Grade Biology
    In 7th grade, we studied the human body and its systems in biology. I had an amazing teacher, and he made memorizing the body parts and body functions fun and interesting. It inspired me to continue on the biology pathway and learn more about the human body.
  • 8th Grade SGA President

    8th Grade SGA President
    I had become heavily involved in the school's newly run SGA in 7th grade, so the following year I decided to run for president. Through this, I learned a lot of leadership and organization, as well as having many oppertunities to learn new things and meet new people.
  • Huntingtown High Field Hockey

    Huntingtown High Field Hockey
    I had worked hard all summer conditioning and playing and I made the team! I learned so much about the game and sport, but also about myself and my body. I learned that my heart truly was in hockey. I continue to play every year for school, as well as indoor and summer league.

    I decided to play Lacrosse in the spring to stay in shape for field hockey and to try a new sport. It opened my eyes to the different sports and new injuries. I had knee problems and ankle problems during the season, so I became well aware of taping and wrapping techniques for different injuries.
  • Biomed Program

    I am now in the Bimoedical program, completing the second year, titled Human Body Systems. This is by far my favorite course- I originally joined it because medicine was my hobby, but through this I have discovered many careers in the medical field that I would love.
  • Internship at a Physical Therapist's office

    Internship at a Physical Therapist's office
    I hope to get an internship or a job at a physical therapist's office this summer to see if this is what I would want to follow as a career. I can learn more exercises and treatments and how to diagnose patients.
  • Graduating High School

    I hope to graduate near the top of my class with a few college credits under my belt. I want to lay a strong foundation for starting college and being able to explore what I love to do while I'm there.
  • Going to College

    Going to College
    I plan on going away to a good college for medicine, right now problably sports medicine, orthepedics, or physical therapy. This will help me find my passions and use them to shape my carrer and future.
