Writing
This was the first time I was recognized for my ability to write well. This started paving the pathway to where I am today. I still write and I enjoy it so much. I aspire to be a poet when I'm older. -
Death
This was the day my grandfather died, I remember finding out like it was yesterday;. This was significant because I lost someone very important to me. -
Another Death
This day I lost my best friend. My dog Jack was my entire life.He was the first dog I ever had and I loved him so much. On this day, my baby was hit by a car. He was taken to the animal hospital, but they couldn't save him. This picture was from the first day I got him in 2005. I miss him so much. There will never be a dog like him. -
Loss
I remember this day off the top of my head. This was the day my youth pastor Alan left my church after being there not even a year and moved away shortly after. This affected me greatly because Alan and his wife Sarah are two of the most influential people I've ever met in my life. They taught me so many things about life and faith, and they brought my youth group to where it is now. We learned together and became a family because of Alan. There is not a day that I don't miss Alan and Sarah. -
Yet Another Loss
This was the day I received a final text with a sad excuse for closure from my now ex bestfriend. Katelyn was one of my best friends in the entire world, and I still care for her so much. Our friendship shouldn't have ended the way it did. She walked away from the people who cared about her the most because she interpreted our actions the wrong way. This event has really left a mark on me and changed me. I went to therapy for a short period of time to deal with the effects this loss had on me. -
Confirmation
This day I was confirmed into the United Methodist Church, and that was a decision that will reflect on my life as long as I live because I re-confessed my love and belief in Jesus Christ and my faith is very importsant to me. -
Finally Success
I'm hoping at this point in time I will finally have found myself and be long gone from this place, I hope that I will finaly be recognized for my writing and that I will be a successful poet. I wish that I will spend my time writing and taking photos because those are the things I enjoy doing most. I hope I will be so happy and doing only what I love-- nothing that I hate.
