Birth
I was born in St. Joseph Hospital a happy baby, weighing 7 pounds. -
Sister is born
On this day my sister was born and it was the greatest thing that every happened. She is my best friend and i cant imagine life without her. -
Playful
My baby brother taught me to be playful. By always keeping a smile on my face and always trying to be silly and play with me. -
Caring
I learned how to be caring when I got my first dog. I learned how to care for others and tend to their needs as well as mine. -
Disney world
It was my first time going to Disney world and I was so excited, I was only 8 and I had never traveled anywhere out of chicago before. -
Arizona Trip
I went on a trip to Arizona to meet my grandmas brother and his 6 sons. I didn't know i had other family and it was a lot of fun hanging out with them and trying new things. The scenery was also beautiful and it gave me a greater appreciation for things. -
Confidence
By trying out for a school play I learned to be confident in myself and my abilities no matter what others thought. -
8th grade graduation
I was excited to be graduating but I was also really sad to be leaving all my friends. -
Pride Parade
This was my irst time going to the pride parade and it was the most fun ive had in a while. I loved seeing all the colorful people expressing and just being themselves. -
Contentment
I learned how to be content from my mother. She taught me that we don't need material things to be happy because we have more important things like family. -
First day of highschool
I started my first day of freshmen year and i was extremely nervous but it turned out ok. -
Open-minded
By starting high school and being part of a new group of people I was able to become more open-minded. There were all kinds of different people from all over with different opinions an beliefs and by being exposed to that I was able to appreciate and respect the differing beliefs. -
Taking the bus
Freshmen year I had to take the bus home everyday because I had no one to pick me up. At first it was scary but it taught me independence and how to do things on my own and not be scared. -
Driving
This was my first time ever driving and it was so exciting. I had been wanting to drive forever and my mom finally let me do it. That day I learned independence. -
Braces
I finally got the braces I had been wanting for sooooooooo long and I still don't regret it. It also made me feel more confident. -
Authenticity
I learned how to be authentic during my years of high school. People are constantly changing to be cool and fit in with others and i stayed true to myself no matter what. -
Communication
Over the summer I got a job and it taught me communication skills because in order to do your job right you need to know how to properly communicate to co workers and your boss. -
First house
Iv'e lived in an apartment my whole life but over this summer I finally got a house. -
IBCP Programme
This year I joined the IBCP Programme and it has taught me many traits. Like how to inquirer and ask more questions, I also learned how to be more organized and its really helped me improve my grades. -
Shoveling snow
I helped my mom shovel snow which shows I'm helpful. Because instead of making her do it all alone I offered my help
