    Adolf Hitler Appointed Chancellor of Germany
    In November of 1932, the Nazi party won 33 percent of the vote, which was more than any other party, in the German Election. Due to this, President Paul von Hindenburg appointed Adolf Hitler, who was the head of the National Socialist German Workers Party (NAZI Party), the new chancellor of Germany. This affected German citizens because they now had a new chancellor, giving them more freedom and less freedom in different cases.

    This law was put into place by President von Hindenburg. This law took away freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right for people to assemble. This meant that the government now could control what was being published to citizens of Germany. This affected German citizens because it slightly limited things they could do by taking away certain things they could see/watch as it says “The government now could control what was being published to citizens of Germany.”

    Hitler could make anything a law without having to check with other people. This means that Hitler had the power. This affected German citizens because any law could be created, which may have had a negative effect on Germans.

    People who are Jewish can only marry Jews.They can't marry anybody that is not a Jew. This affected German citizens because they were no longer allowed to marry jewish people, breaking relationships or stopping them from happening

    Jews from Europe were trying to immigrate to other countries. Leaders from 32 countries met to discuss whether they should admit the refugees. Some said they would allow them in while others said no. This affected German citizens because Germany's population now wouldn't be as hgh, not letting jews immigrate.

    There were no limits or restraints on Hitler’s authority. Germany became a complete dictatorship. This affected German citizens because Germans now lost rights and gained rights, they mainly lost though, as they a had to follow hitlers plan even if they didn't agree with it.

    People burned books that didn’t talk positively about the Germans. This affected German citizens because it could have put some Germans out of business, and it lessened the options of things to read.

    In August of 1939,German anti semitic propaganda linked jews with communism and depicted the Soviet Union. Despite this, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union signed a secret pact, vowing not to attack each other for 10 years. This affected German citizens because they were now frenemies after they vow.

    Announcement of Death Penalty for Aiding Jews
    Anyone who was caught helping a jew would be sent to Poland for a death penalty. This affected German citizens because there were some Germans that did not believe Hitlers plan, and they wanted to help the jews, now not being able to, they would be executed if caught helping.

    The German Propaganda Ministry kept registries of “racially pure” editors and journalists. New reporters had to register and show they were not Jewish. This affected German citizens because it makes the process of getting certain jobs harder.
