    In November of 1932, the Nazi party won 33 percent of the vote, which was more than any other party, in the German Election. Due to this, President Paul von Hindenburg appointed Adolf Hitler, who was the head of the National Socialist German Workers Party (NAZI Party), the new chancellor of Germany. This affected disabled people because hitler would make laws againest them

    This law was put into place by President von Hindenburg. This law took away freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and the right for people to assemble. This meant that the government now could control what was being published to citizens of Germany.

    This law gave Hitler the power to do whatever he wanted. He could make something a law without having to check with anyone else. If he wanted it, he would enforce it. This led to him creating many laws which targeted groups that he deemed not worthy of living.
    This affected disabled people because hitler could have made a law about killing all disabled people and nobody/they couldnt say anything about it
  • Burning of “Un-German” Books

    Books were burned that didn’t agree with the Nazi viewpoint. Therefore, people were not able to read material that they wanted nor were they able to get correct information.
    This this affected disabled people because they could have burnt info about disabled people and people couldn't check if somebody was spreading misinfo about the disabled because they couldnt look it up on a book

    On August, 20, 1942 Aleksandr Tolupow was moved to a camp called auschwitz. He was prisoner number “60306” he was sent to a soviet pow where he was treated very badly, he was sent to do forced labor which gave him a chance to get eacha small amounts of food. He died on June 6, 1943.
