    Major accomplishments of the fight for equity and equality in the disabled in the community includes the La LaFollette-Barden Act as well as the acts and laws placed above (U.S Rehabilitation Act of 1973,Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and Passage of Public Law 94-142 Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) . these acts laws were set in place to insure that there is equality for all who are disabled, no matter the ability, ensuring a brighter future for all.
