The aremed factory's workers stormed the winter palace in petrograd. They tookover the government. They arrested the leaders of the provisional government. -

World war one has ended. Russia and Germany sign the treaty of brest-litousk. Russia had to surrend a lot of it's land to germany. -
Civil war chaos
Civil war broke out and raegd in Russia. Many west nations sent military aid to the white army. The destruction of russia left it in chaos. -
Lenin comes to the rescue
Lenin comes to power in Russia. Lenin created a small scale capitalism. They called it the new econimc policy. -

Country was named the USSR. Lenin had a storke and survived. He set up a competition for who would run the communist party.
