Babur topples Delhi sultanate and founded a line of rulers that establishes the Mongol empire
Babur takes over Delhi and establishes the mightiest Islamic dynasty India has ever known. His grandson Akbar creates this dynasty that shows religious tolerance and supports the arts and architecture and with Akbars desire to learn from other cultures his grandson builds the architecture masterpiece called the Taj Mahal.

Ismail declares himself the shah or king of the new Safavid empire
Ismail is the head of the Safavid, a religious brotherhood and using his personal bodyguards. turns them into a political force, conquering all of Persia. He attacks the Ottomans, a Sunni branch of Islam, in 1514. The Safavids are the Shia branch of Islam and he is cruel to any that do not convert. This cruelty begins a century of fighting between the two branches. -
1493 BCE
General Askia Muhammad over throws Bakari
when Sunni Ali died, in 1492, his son, Bakari, took over. Only a year later, the General seizes control and expands the empire to its greatest size by the use of trade. Through trade, it becomes a great empire and Muhammad brings this empire closer to Islamic law and appointed Muslim judges to the courts.

Sultan Mehmet II takes over Constantinople
Sultan Mehmet II attacks Constantinople. After the Byzantine emperor dies the Sultan transforms the church to a mosque and declares that the ancient Christain city of Constantinople would be the capital of the Islamic empire, be a Muslim city, known as Istanbul. This is important because the city gets converted to Muslim and thrives under the laws enforced by the Ottoman rulers. This branch of Islam is known as Sunni

1324 BCE
Emperor Mansa Musa makes pilgrimage to the holy city of Mecca
Musa's journey from Mali to Mecca, which cover 2800 miles, was done in a very majestic way, showing his extreme wealth with a large caravan of people, goods, and gold. Musa was so impressed by the religious slender or Mecca that he began to transform Timbuktu into the Pearl of Africa, a city on a North side trade route making all visitors from Europe and Muslim world to visit.
