    Now a days in known as Casa de Espiritualidad Sierra Nevada, a hotel made for spritual accomodation.

    The caves are the usual houses of Sacromonte; its origin is not very clear, it had built in the 16th century, when Muslim and Jewish population was expelled from their homes.
    Between 1960 and 1969 the people began to rebuild these caves and it became popular and visited by tourists.
    Flamenco schools have been built in these caves.

    Former it was a factory of sugar, which closed and the citizens of Armilla did of this one an enclosure of temporary exhibitions. Companies of different sites use it to expose his products.

    At the UNESCO convention, in Buenos Aires (Argentina), the World Heritage Commitee proceeded to officialy include the Alhambra and the Generalife of Granada on the World Heritage List. This compromises Spain to carfully preserve and protect the Alhambra and the surrounding area.

    The Cascamorras is a Spanish holiday of "Tourist International Interest " that is celebrated every year in the cities of Baza and Guadix, in the center - north of the province of Granada. From 2006 it was declared as " Holiday of Tourist National Interest ".
    In the midnight from September 5 to September 6 the cascamorras is dismissed from Guadix by the mission to get hold the Virgin of the Piety of Baza.

It takes place in an open space very close to the centre Granada, It concentrates thousands of students, in the edition of 2012 was the most visited, with around 20.000 people, not only from Granada, but also coming from other cities of the country.

    "Alhambra Sound" festival first edition

    It's an Indie music festival made to celebrate the end of uni exams.It took place at "Plaza de Toros" in Granada, and it lasted for more than 10 hours. There were 3000 assistants.
    Now a days it's still celebrated every September named as "Granada Sound". Every year the number of assistants are increasing, being in the last edition 25000.
